The Department of Egyptology and Sudan Archeology (now the Department of Northeast African Archeology and Cultural Studies, AKNOA) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin organised several exhibitions on the ‚Temples of Musawwarat es Sufra. Excavations in Sudan by the Berlin University‘ with the support of the Sudan Archaeological Society of Berlin e.V. (SAG) during the 1990s and early 2000s. Objects from the Sudanarchaeological Collection of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin were exhibited together with plaster casts of reliefs from the Apedemak Temple. Individual objects from the Sudan Archaeological Collection were repeatedly part of touring exhibitions as well as loans for various exhibitions.
